The event starts with the ERP Future Summit, where experts of the enterprise systems sector are discussing about current topics of the branch.

The Research Conference focus at the scientific examination of the topics Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Business Intelligence (BI) systems, Business Process Management (BPM) systems and information systems.

At the Business Symposium, leading ERP-provider present and discuss the future of the ERP landscape and the tendency of their development of their ERP-Systems as well as BI and BPM.

Review: Hagenberg, November 2016

For the tenth time the ERP Future was held between the 14 – 15 November at the Software Competence Centre Hagenberg. As in the previous years the event was divided into three areas: Research, Summit and Business.

At the Research Conference the participants grappled with the scientific aspects. Technical and also the business perspectives were thematized.

Afterwards the Research Conference, the Summit was held. This event serves the purpose of bridging the theory and practise and initiate the transfer from the scientific theory to the practise part. At the panel discussion Michael Bergmann (Scheer Austria GmbH), Walter Hölblinger (Steyr Mannlicher GmbH), Bernhard Schuster (INFOTECH EDV-Systeme GmbH) und Johannes Keckeis (SIS Consulting GmbH) discussed the opportunities and challenges of digitalization.

At the second day of the ERP Future focused upon the Business Symposium. This information event was designed for the ERP user. The perspectives of the future, development and trends of the ERP system landscape were presented by leading ERP provider. So the managing directors of companies get the opportunity to inform about the market innovations and evolutions.
